The Sweeds 1999 and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and the variety of Western fusion dishes on the menu. The restaurant is tucked away in Cheras, but thanks to the newer highways, it’s quite accessible. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the set lunch menu was reasonably priced, especially considering it came with a drink. The ambiance is casual yet stylish, making it a great spot for both family meals and casual hangouts. If you're a fan of sizzling plates and fusion flavors, The Sweeds 1999 is definitely worth a visit. I’d love to see more seafood options and maybe some desserts added to the menu in the future.

Decided to try out this western cafe since it was near our place and waiting was not too long since it was 31st Dec. My hubby had the smoked duck aglio olio and he told me it was tasty with mushrooms and broccoli. I had the mushroom chicken and it was delicious. We had to sit outside as it was crowded inside and we didn't want to wait so we cannot comment on the atmosphere. Price wise is reasonable. The cafe juz opened a month ago so it's a great find.

A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood From the outside it looks simple and unassuming, but once you step in, it feels like discovering a secret. Food recommended (must try): 1. Calamari with Lemon sauce (recommended by the boss!) 10/10⭐ 2. Mix platter - beef with garlic sauce medium rare and fish is sooooo crispy and it is definitely different from normal western cafe or restaurant 3. White sauce chicken - chose from the dinner set, comes with mushroom soup and a fresh juice!! 4. Mushroom soup - standard campbell taste Overall, i give a 9/10 The portion is big enough with reasonable price Suitable for couple dates, friends gathering and families too. They provide baby chair They do serve wine, beer, juices, tea and milkshakes

I enjoyed their set B chicken white sauce with mushroom soup and a drink (I ordered carrot milk with less ice). The white sauce is kinda special, it tastes salty and a bit wasabi but I personally like it, it matches the chicken and I like their mashed potato which can taste it's potato texture and the little sweet sauce which is good. The mushroom soup comes first, I enjoy the taste of mushroom which is not too strong and raw but just nice. I believed they make the food with all basic ingredients not those powder or fast food ingredients. Overall, happy to drop by and had my dinner here with my friend.

I'd visited this restaurant 20 years ago (can't remember where is the original location) and now they open at the location nearby my place, surprisingly the food taste is still good with reasonable price. I just hope they will have sea salt for the steak... Will patron again next time...
